Condition
If the control unit registers that there is no signal from the Gear Selector Control Unit (GSM) diagnostic trouble code TCM-0094 will be set.

Substitute value
- None.

Possible source
- Contact resistance in the connectors.
- Open circuit in the communication wire.

Fault symptom[s]
- Malfunction Indicator Light (MIL) is on.
- General warning lamp on.
- Position indication on the gear selector panel not working.
