TCM-E000 Control Module Communication





Condition
The control modules communicate with each other in a network via a standardized serial communication interface - Controller Area Network (CAN) - to exchange of information. The control modules transmit and receive information. Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) TCM-E000 is stored if the control module registers that communication is missing or subject to interference.

Substitute value
- The Transmission Control Module (TCM) "Emergency mode 1" program has been initiated.

Possible source
- Short-circuit to ground or supply voltage in Control Area Network (CAN) wiring.
