TCM-0090 Shift Lock Solenoid, Signal Too High

Condition
If the control unit registers signal too high from solenoid P position lock, diagnostic trouble code TCM-0090 is set.

Substitute value
- Gear selector not blocked.

Possible source
- Signal wire short circuited to voltage supply.
- Solenoid defective.

Fault symptom[s]
- Orange general warning lamp is on.
- Malfunction Indicator Light (MIL) is on.
- Gear selector movable with ignition off.
