Reverse Light Does Not Work






Checking reverse light contact

Checking wire and replacement of component
Check the wire between the central electronic module (CEM) 1A and reverse light contact 2 (3/10) for a short circuit to ground as described in Checking wiring and terminals. Permanent fault Checking Wiring and Terminals. Permanent Fault.
Also check the connector for a short circuit to ground as described in Checking wiring and terminals. Permanent fault Checking Wiring and Terminals. Permanent Fault.
If no fault is found on the wire, check the function of the reversing lamp switch.

Hint: If brake light contact is closed, the voltage between 1 and 2 on the contact is 0 V.

Do the necessary corrective action.
