Programming the service parameters
The following data can be programmed in the driver information module (DIM).
Programming of:
- New meter indication.
- Conditions for activation of Service Reminder Lamp (SRL), distance covered for service, service time and engine service time.
- Instrument displaying zeros for driving distance.
- Temperature unit.
- Trip computer unit (applies only to cars with trip computers).
- 12 or 24 hour clock display.

Selecting the instrument type
Select the appropriate alternative depending on whether the instrument is set for kilometres or miles. If the speedometer range is from 0-260 it is a kilometre instrument and if the range is from 0 -160 it is a miles instrument.

Resetting the odometer setting

Resetting the odometer setting (km)
- Ignition on

Caution! It is only possible to program this parameter once and then only if the reading is below 500 km.It may be illegal to change the odometer setting in the driver information module (DIM).

To reset the odometer setting, click the VCT2000 symbol.

Resetting the odometer setting (miles)
- Ignition on

Caution! It is only possible to program this parameter once and then only if the reading is below 310 miles.It may be illegal to change the odometer setting in the driver information module (DIM).

To reset the odometer setting, click the VCT2000 symbol.

There are three service parameter units which can be programmed. Using this parameter, the number of km (miles) is set which the car must cover before the SRL lamp switches on. (Service reminder lamp)
Choices can be made between 5000, 7500, 10000, 15000 or 20000 km (miles).
Read the programmed data.
If the service parameter is to be changed, mark the desired value in the scrolling list and start the programming.

Programming distance conditions for service (miles)

There are three programmable service parameters. This parameter is used to set the number of miles a car can be driven before the Service Reminder Indicator (SRI) is lit. (Service reminder lamp)
2,500, 5,000, 6000, 7,500 10,000 or 12000 miles can be selected.
Read off the parameter that is programmed.
To change the service parameter, mark the desired value in the scrolling list and start programming.

The permitted settings are 500, 750 or 1000 hours.

Programming of zeros (customer preference)
The zeros in the instrument can be set to be displayed or hidden. If the zeros are displayed, all the positions before the number of kilometres covered are filled with zeros, and if the zeros are hidden these positions remain blank.
Read the input data.
If the value is to be changed, enter the necessary value into the scrolling list and start the programming.

Options are: Celsius or Fahrenheit.
