Lifting the front seats in and out
Remove the four panels located above the seat screws:
Pull the front panels straight up. Pull the rear panels diagonally upwards and backwards.
Unscrew the four M10 screws.
Carry out operation Side panel Side Panel
Seat belt buckle end mounting Seat Belt Buckle End Mounting and SRS connector SRS Connector.
Disconnect the remaining connectors.
Remove the seat.
Note! To prevent electric static discharge problems:When removing a seat from a car with side airbags, the seat must be grounded. This is due to the danger of static electricity.
When the seat is removed from its screwed joints and before it is lifted out of the car:
Strip a long cable at both ends.
Secure one end to the rear mounting on the seat (the metal colored mounting).
Secure the other end in the car or to the car lift.
Install:
In reverse order.
The seat must be tightened to the floor. Tighten to 48 Nm.
