Badges, rear, replacing

Positioning the badges





Note! Use a pen that will not permanently mark the paintwork.

Volvo badge
- Measure a horizontal line 164 mm (6.46") below the edge of the glass (M1)
- Measure the distance (M3) from the edge of the tailgate (43.7 mm (1.72"))
- Remove the backing (Leave the securing film in place)
- Position the upper left-hand corner of the badge on the point you have measured out.





Model designation
- Measure a horizontal line 164 mm (6.46") below the edge of the glass (M1)
- Measure a horizontal line (M2) 60 mm (2.36") below horizontal line M1
- Measure the distance along the lower dimple (M5) from the edge of the tailgate (61 mm (2.40"))
- Measure distance (M4) 20 mm (0.78") below the edge of the glass. The line between M4 and M5 forms a diagonal line. This line shows the angle of slope of the letters of the model designation
- Remove the backing (Leave the securing film in place)
- Guide the rear edge of the emblem against the angled line (M4, M5).
