Rear window removal
Remove:
- trim strips along the D pillar as described in Weatherstrips and trim strips Weatherstrips and Trim Strips.
- the roof sealing strip.
Note! Mask the body around the window with tape to prevent paint damage.

At the D pillars:
Begin in the top corner and cut downwards.
Use short blade951 2787 Knife blade 26 951 2787 Knife Blade 26
Next to the roof:
Begin in the centre and cut outwards.
Use short blade.
Do the same from the other side.
Take care at the corners.
The roof can be cut from corner to corner but it is difficult to go forwards.
Bottom edge:
Open the boot lid.
Use long blade951 2788 Knife blade 38 mm 951 2788 Knife Blade 38 mm
Begin in the centre and work outwards towards the rear mudguard.
Do the same on the other side.
When the window has been cut out:
Lift the sidescarefullyand disconnect the contacts for:
- electrically heated rear window (1).
- radio antenna (2).
- TV antenna (3).
(If there is one!)
Lift out the window and place it on the stand.
