Condition
If the control unit registers that the signal from the gear selector control unit (GSM) is too high, diagnostic trouble code TCM-0093 is set.

Substitute value
- None.

Possible source
- Contact resistance in the connectors.
- Communication wire short-circuited to voltage supply.

Fault symptom[s]
- Malfunction indicator light (MIL) is on.
- General warning lamp on.
- Position indication on the gear selector panel not working.
