Signal missing
Checking wiring and terminals
Check the connector between the road traffic information (RTI) control module and the GPS antenna. Check for contact resistance and oxidation.
Check the wiring between the GPS antenna and road traffic information (RTI) control module terminals #G1 and #G2. Check for a short-circuit to ground. Check for an open-circuit.
Hint: If the GPS antenna is using more than 100 mA, the current is "shut off" in the control module and drops to 0 mA.
Remedy as necessary.

Fault-tracing indicates an internal fault in the GPS antenna. Replace according to Antenna, GPS, replacing Service and Repair.
Select "Continue" when corrective action has been carried out.

Hint: After carrying out the repair, check that the fault has been remedied.
- Ignition off
- Reinstall the connectors, components etc.
- Ignition on.
Hint: Leave the car outside in an open place until the road traffic information (RTI) control module has found at least 3 satellites.
This can take up to 15 minutes.
