Signal too high or Signal missing. Intermittent fault

Checking wiring and connectors
Check the rear electronic module (REM) and fuel level sensor connectors. Check for loose connections. Check for contact resistance and oxidation.
Check the cables between fuel level sensor connector terminal #7 and control module terminal #A08 (#A8). Check for an intermittent open-circuit. Check for an intermittent short-circuit to ground. Check for an intermittent short-circuit to supply voltage.
Check the ground lead between control module terminal #A10 (#A10) and fuel level sensor connector terminal #6. Check for an intermittent open-circuit.
Check the cables between the left and right fuel level sensors. Check for an intermittent open-circuit. Check the terminal pins and connectors. Check for loose connections. Check for contact resistance and oxidation.
