Signal too high or Signal missing. Intermittent fault
Checking wiring and connectors
Check the rear electronic module (REM) and fuel level sensor connectors. Check for loose connections. Check for contact resistance and oxidation.
Check the cables between fuel level sensor connector terminal #5 and breakout box terminal #A02 (#A2). Check for an intermittent open-circuit. Check for an intermittent short-circuit to ground. Check for an intermittent short-circuit to supply voltage.
Check the ground lead between breakout box terminal #A10 (#A10) and fuel level sensor connector terminal #6. Check for an intermittent open-circuit.
