Signal Too High - Permanent Fault






Signal too high. Permanent fault

Checking the wiring
Check the power supply cable between control module terminal #A39 (#A39) and mass air flow (MAF) sensor terminal #4. Check for a short-circuit to supply voltage.
Check the power supply cable between control module terminal #A39 (#A39) and boost pressure sensor terminal #1. Check for a short-circuit to supply voltage.
Check the power supply cable between control module terminal #A39 (#A39) and air conditioning (A/C) pressure sensor terminal #3. Check for a short-circuit to supply voltage.
Check the power cable between control module terminal #B10 (#B20) and fuel tank pressure sensor connector terminal #3. Check for a short-circuit to supply voltage.

Hint: Read off the 5-volt power supply by clicking on the VCT2000 symbol.

Remedy as necessary.

- Ignition on.
- Read off the 5 volt supply.
The value must be 5 V.
