Checking component and wiring
Check cable between engine control module (ECM) #A38 (#A38) and turbocharger (TC) control valve #2 for a short-circuit to ground according to Checking wiring and terminals. Permanent fault Checking Wiring and Terminals. Permanent Fault.

- To access/replace the turbocharger (TC) control valve, see Replacing the turbocharger (TC) control valve, B5244T5, B5254T2 Service and Repair.
- Turbocharger (TC) control valve #1 has Ubat power supply from the system relay.

- Reinstall connectors, components etc.
- Ignition on.
- Activate turbocharger (TC) control valve
- A click should be heard from the turbocharger (TC) control valve.
- Check that the function is OK.
