Checking for permanent or intermittent faults




- Ignition on.
Press the switch for the relevant power window mechanism to check the function of the power window mechanism.

Is the power window control operating correctly?

Yes - Intermittent fault

No - Reinitiating the window positions

Reinitiating the window positions
Move the window to its upper limit position using manual control.
Hold the button depressed to ensure that the window is at its absolute upper limit. At the same time, initiate the window position by clicking the VCT2000 symbol.





Is the power window control operating correctly?

Yes - Fault Found

No - Replacing the component

- Ignition off.
The control module has registered an internal fault.

Note! A new control module is delivered without software. The control module must be programmed when it has been replaced.

After replacing the control module the window position must be initialized.
Ignition on.
Move the window to its upper limit position using manual control.
