Checking the wires
Check the wire between central electronic module (CEM) 4D and steering wheel module (SWM) 21 (3/130).
Trouble-shoot for an intermittent short circuit to voltage supply as described in Checking wiring and terminals. Intermittent faults Checking Wiring and Terminals. Intermittent Faults and for an open circuit as described in Checking wiring and terminals. Intermittent faults Checking Wiring and Terminals. Intermittent Faults.
Do the necessary corrective action.
