Signal Too Low






Signal too low

Checking the status
Check if the fault is permanent or intermittent by switching between high and low beam.
If the right xenon lamp does not switch between the high and low beam it means that the fault is permanent.
If the right xenon lamp switches between high and low beam it indicates that the fault was present previously but is no longer active, intermittent fault.

V70 and XC70
Check the cable between Central electronic module (CEM) #D11 and right light housing #C1 (10/2) for short-circuiting to ground.

Other vehicles.
Check the cable between the central electronic module (CEM) terminal #D11 and the right lamp housing terminal #5A (10/2). Check for a short-circuit to ground.
Replace the right lamp housing if no fault is found.

- Ignition off
- Reinstall the connectors, components etc.
- Ignition on.
Switch on the lighting and shift between high and low beam.

Do the xenon lamps switch between high and low beam?

Yes - VERIFIED

No - VERIFICATION FAILED
