Check if the fault is permanent or intermittent by switching between high and low beam.
If the left xenon lamp does not switch between the high and low beam it means that the fault is permanent.
If the left xenon lamp switches between high and low beam it indicates that the fault was present previously but is no longer active, intermittent fault.

Check the cable between Central electronic module (CEM) #A2 and left light housing #C1 (10/1) for short-circuiting to ground.
Other vehicles.
Check the cable between the central electronic module (CEM) terminal #A2 and the left lamp housing terminal #5A (10/1). Check for a short-circuit to ground.
Replace the left-hand lamp housing if no fault is found.
