Checking the relay
- Ignition off.
Check that relay 2/62 is installed correctly. At the same time check the relay connections, in particular 2/62 2, for a short circuit to voltage supply as described in Checking wiring and terminals. Permanent fault Checking Wiring and Terminals. Permanent Fault.

- Ignition off.
- Connect the connectors, install the components, etc.
- Ignition on.
Read dipped headlamp relay.
Activate dipped headlamps.
Additional information:
- With dipped headlamp on, the value should be "on" and when dipped headlamp is switched off, the value should be "off".
