Checking charge voltage
Hint: When a battery charger or a starter unit has been connected to the battery it is important to check that the proper voltage has been set.
Charging with too high a voltage can cause a diagnostic trouble code to be set.
- Engine running.
- Connect a voltmeter between the battery poles.
The battery voltage must be below 16 V.
