Checking fuse 11C/33 (15A)




- Ignition off.
Check that fuse 11C/33 (15A) is intact.

Is the fuse intact?

Yes - Checking the signal cable

No - Checking the signal cable

- Ignition off
- Remove fuel pump relay 2/23 from the central electronic module (CEM) base.
Check the signal cables between fuse 11C/33 terminal #2 and fuel pump relay 2/23 terminal #3. Check for an open-circuit.
Remedy as necessary.

Yes - Replacing the component

No - Verification

- Ignition off
- Remove fuel pump relay 2/23 from the central electronic module (CEM) base.
Check the signal cables between fuse 11C/33 terminal #2 and fuel pump relay terminal #3. Check for a short-circuit to ground.
Remedy as necessary.

Hint: After the repair it is necessary to check that the fault has been rectified.








- Ignition off.
- Connect the connectors, install the components, etc.
- Ignition on.
Check that diagnostic trouble code status changes from permanent to intermittent.





Is the diagnostic trouble code status intermittent?

Yes - VERIFIED

No - VERIFICATION FAILED
