Checking the signal cable
- Ignition off
- Disconnect the connector from the central electronic module (CEM)
- Disconnect connector group B from the engine control module (ECM).
Check the signal cables between central electronic module (CEM) terminal #14B and engine control module (ECM) terminal #45B. Check for an open-circuit.
Also check connector 54/3. Check for contact resistance and oxidation.
Remedy as necessary.
