Condition

Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) UEM-0084 is stored if the upper electronic module or the rain sensor registers a fault in communication.

Substitute value

- Intermittent windshield wipers.
- High speed windshield wipers.

Possible source.

- Defective rain sensor.
- Contact resistance or oxidation on the signal cable.
- Bad signal.

Fault symptom[s]

- No rain sensor function.
