UEM-0082

Condition

The upper electronic module communicates with the rain sensor. Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) UEM-0082 is stored if the upper electronic module registers too high a signal from the rain sensor communication cable. Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) UEM-0082 can be diagnosed with the ignition on.

Substitute value

- Intermittent windshield wipers.
- High speed windshield wipers.

Possible source

- Short-circuit to supply voltage in the signal cable for the rain sensor.
- Defective rain sensor.

Fault symptom[s]

- No rain sensor function.
