UEM-0013

Condition

Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) UEM-0013 is stored if diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) UEM-000A, UEM-000B, UEM-000C, UEM-0011 and UEM-0012 are not stored and the upper electronic module (UEM) registers an internal fault in the movement sensor or registers that there is an open-circuit or high signal in the movement sensor communication cable when the alarm is active.

In XC90 the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) means that a fault has been detected in the rear movement sensor.

Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) UEM-0013 can be diagnosed when the car is locked from the outside using the remote control.

Substitute value

- None.

Possible source

- Contact fault on the sensor and/or control module sides.
- Open-circuit in the sensor communication cable.
- Short-circuit to supply voltage in the sensor communication cable.
- Defective sensor.
