Condition

If control module receives no response from siren at repeated requests, this is understood as a communication fault and the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored.

Substitute value

- None.

Possible source

- Open-circuit on UEM_K3 (serial cable between UEM, siren and sun roof).
- UEM_K3 short-circuit to ground.
- UEM_K3 short-circuit to battery voltage.
- Defect siren.

- Siren does not work.
- Alarm does not work.
