Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) SAS-004B is stored if the control module for the steering wheel angle sensor registers that the signal from the steering wheel angle sensor is faulty.

Possible source
- Contact resistance or oxidation in the control module for the steering wheel angle sensor or in the steering wheel module connector.
- Fault in the signal cables between the steering wheel angle sensor and the control module for the steering wheel angle sensor.
- Internal fault in the steering wheel angle sensor.
- Internal fault in the control module.

Fault symptom[s]
- Anti-spin warning lamp lit.
- No stability function.
