REM-4A44

Condition

Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) REM-4A44 is stored if the control module registers that with the gas level more than 5% and the engine running, that the fuel level is unchanged over 100 km.

Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) REM-4A44 can be diagnosed when the ignition is on, gas operation selected and the gas tank is at least 5% full.

Substitute value

- The fuel level is set to zero.

Possible source

- Defective sensor.

Fault symptom[s]

- The trip computer displays an empty fuel tank too early.
- The fuel level gauge does not function.
