Condition

If the control unit registers that, when engine is running, the fuel level in the right tank half is more than 2 litres and unchanged for 100 km (60 miles), the diagnostic trouble code is displayed.

Substitute value

- Fuel gauge is reset.

Possible source

- Defective sensor (right side).

Fault symptom[s]

- Trip computer indicates too soon that fuel tank is empty.
- Fuel gauge does not work.
