Condition







The control modules communicate with each other in a network via a standardized serial communication procedure - CAN (Controller Area Network) - for exchange of information. The control modules both transmit and receive information. Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) PSM-E001 is stored if the control module registers that that there is no communication or that it is distorted.

NOTE: In the event of system communication problems it is not possible to communicate with the control module. Therefore it will only be possible to read off the fault if it is intermittent.

- CAN communication blocked.

- Defective PSM control module.

- Remote operation does not function at all.
