PSM-0033

Condition







Motor 2 controls the backrest rake. Motor 2 must be activated before the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) can be detected. Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) PSM-0033 is stored if motor 2 does not run despite M2- being activated and the power seat module registering +12 V on the M2- signal cable.

Possible source

- Open-circuit in signal cable M2-.
- Blown fuse (11C/4).

Fault symptom[s]

- The angle of the backrest cannot be adjusted.
