Condition







Control units communicate with each other over a network via a standardised serial method of communication - CAN (Controller Area Network) - and exchange information. Control units send and receive information. If control unit registers that communication is interrupted has defaulted, diagnostic trouble code CCM-E001 is displayed.

NOTE: During a communication fault the control unit cannot communicate. Therefore the diagnostic trouble code is only given if the fault is intermittent.

- CAN communication blocked.

- Defective control unit.

Fault symptom[s]

- Anti-spin does not work.
- Rear window heating does not work.
- Front seat heating does not work.
- Extra lamp does not work.
- Collapsible head restraint does not work.
- Mist on windows and/or external rear-view mirrors.
- Does not lock to the deadlock position BLL.
- External rear-view mirror operation does not work.
- Personal boot lock does not work.
- Temporary disconnection of detectors does not work.
- Does not open from the deadlock position BLL.
