Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) CCM-001A is stored if the control module registers that the signal from the fan knob is in excess of 99% or less than 1% of supply voltage (approximately 5 V).

Substitute value

- The control module adopts a value corresponding to half of the maximum fan knob output.

Possible source

- Defective potentiometer.
- Short-circuit to supply voltage or ground in the potentiometer.

Fault symptom[s]

- The blower fan only runs at one speed.
