Condition







If control unit registers that signal from evaporator temperature sensor is more than 97% of excitation voltage (approximately 5V), diagnostic trouble code CCM-0005 is displayed.

Substitute value

- Control unit assumes a substitute value equivalent to approximately 0 degrees C (32 degrees F).

Possible source

- Signal wire has open circuit or short circuit to voltage supply.
- Contact resistance, oxidation or loose contact in connector.
- Ground connection has open circuit or short circuit to voltage supply.
- Defective evaporator temperature sensor.

Fault symptom[s]

- No cool air from A/C-system.
- A/C compressor does not work or works intermittently.
- Intermittent function of A/C-system.
