CEM-Failure

Condition

Control units communicate with each other over a network via a standardised serial method of communication - CAN (Controller Area Network) - and exchange information. Control units send and receive information.

If the central electronic module (CEM) registers that communication is interrupted or has defaulted, the diagnostic trouble code is displayed.
