Condition

If the control unit registers that the signal on the relay coil 2/17 is not present/too low when the signal horn is activated, diagnostic trouble code CEM-8FA3 is set.

Substitute value

- None.

Possible source

- Oxidation of relay socket contacts.
- Relay is loose or missing.
- Faulty relay, open circuit/short circuit to ground in relay coil.

Fault symptom[s]

- Horn does not work.
