CEM-8F22

Condition

If windscreen wiper is in its operating position (position on windscreen) but wiper switch is not in an activated position (that is, one of the positions for full/half-speed, intermittent or single sweep wipe), diagnostic trouble code CEM-8F22 is displayed.

Substitute value

- Only low wiper speed works.

Possible source

- Short circuit to ground on switch which indicates operation/rest position.
- Defective windscreen wiper lever.
- Defective fuse 11C/22.

Fault symptom[s]

- Wiper only works on lowest speed.
