Condition

If the control unit detects a low signal on the IDS wire between central electronic module (CEM) 13D and antenna unit 3 when the signal should be high or no signal, diagnostic trouble code CEM-6C44 is displayed.

Substitute value

- Nothing.

Possible source

- Wire between central electronic module (CEM) 13D and antenna unit 3 short circuited to ground.
- Open circuit on wire between central electronic module (CEM) 13D and antenna unit 3.
- Open circuit on +15 supply.

Fault symptom[s]

- The engine will not start. (The starter motor does not work.).
