Condition

Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) CEM-1A08 is stored if the central electronic module (CEM) registers an open-circuit or a short-circuit to ground in the 50-supply.

- None.

Possible source

- Contact resistance in terminals.
- Open-circuit or short-circuit to ground in 50-supply.
- Starter relay not active.
- Defective ignition switch.

Fault symptom[s]

- The starter motor does not turn.
