Condition

Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) CEM-1A03 is stored if the control module registers an open-circuit or a short-circuit to ground in the Supply.

Substitute value

- None.

Possible source

- Contact resistance in terminals.
- Open-circuit or short-circuit to ground in S-supply.
- The key is not recognized.
- Defective ignition switch.

Fault symptom[s]

- The starter motor does not turn.
