BCM-0106: Steering Wheel Or Wheel Alignment, Incorrect Steering Wheel Or Wheel Alignment
Condition

Note! The Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) applies only to cars with Dynamic Stability And Traction Control (DSTC).

The control module for the steering angle sensor transmits signals from the steering wheel angle sensor on the Control Area Network (CAN) from where it is retrieved by the Brake Control Module (BCM). A reference signal is calculated using the signals from the wheel sensors, the yaw rate sensor and the lateral accelerometer. Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) BCM-0106 is stored if the Brake Control Module (BCM) registers that the reference signal is outside its permitted range.
