Shock absorber guard, Installation
Background:
A new lower mounting guard on the rear shock absorber has been introduced into production. If the old type of guard has to be removed or where the old guard has fallen off the new type of guard should be installed. Two holes must be drilled in the link arm in order to install the new guard.
Materials

Locate the shock absorber guard (1) over the shock absorber
mounting in the link arm. Make sure the bolt heads are inside the raised lip (2) on the inside of the guard.
Mark up the positions for the two holes on the link arm. Drill two holes 5.5 mm (7/32") in diameter.
Treat the hole and edges with an approved anti corrosion agent.

Install the screws and washers.
