Checking the reserve battery




- Ignition on.
Measurement range 0 -100.
The value for a battery at full capacity is 100.
If the value is between 0 and 40, the spare battery should be replaced.
The phone module calculates the theoretical capacity of the battery.
Battery capacity can be read via the driver information module (DIM) or the diagnostic tool. Do as follows on the telephone keypad to initiate a readout via the driver information module.
1. Briefly press digits 2, 5 and 8.
2. Press the right arrow button twice.
Click on the VCT 2000 symbol to initiate a readout via the diagnostic tool.
