DTC ECM-6100

Condition







Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) ECM-6100 is stored in the engine control module (ECM) if the engine cooling fan control module registers that the temperature is too high in the engine cooling fan control module amplifier or fan blade is blocked.

Substitute value
- engine cooling fan (FC) disabled

Possible source

Faulty signal:
- blocked fan blade
- defective engine fan control module

Fault symptom[s]
- overheated motor.
