Preparatory work

Removing the front bushing
- Place the control arm in a workshop press.
- Use: 999 7312 Cover 999 7312 Cover , 999 7035 Sleeve 999 7035 Sleeve and 999 7308 Drift 999 7308 Drift
- Press out the bushing.
Installing the front bushing
Caution! Ensure that the bushing is correctly positioned in the control arm.
- Align the bushing with the control arm as above.
- Press in the bushing. Use tool 999 2852 MOUNTING RING 999 2852 Mounting Ring and 999 7308 Drift 999 7308 Drift
- Press the bushing in until the outer sleeve of the bushing contacts the tool 999 2852 MOUNTING RING 999 2852 Mounting Ring
Removing the rear bushing
- Place the control arm in a workshop press.
- Use: 999 5624 Counterhold 999 5624 Counterhold and 999 7209 Socket 999 7209 Socket.
- Press out the bushing.
Installing the rear bushing
Note! Note that the bushing's inner sleeve is longer on one side. This side must point upwards.
Press in the bushing to the specified dimension (40 mm), measured between the control arm's machined surface and the bushing's inner sleeve.
- Place the bushing in the control arm as above.
- Use tool 999 5624 Counterhold 999 5624 Counterhold and 999 7209 Socket 999 7209 Socket
- Press in the bushing to the above given position.
