Checking the fuel pump (FP)




- Ignition on.
Activate the fuel pump (FP): Click on the VCT 2000 symbol.

Warning! Great care must be taken when activating the fuel pump (FP). If fuel is filled for an excessive amount of time, smoke may be generated or the heater may be damaged.

Check that the fuel pump (FP) is working. The heater cannot be started if the pump is not working. The basic problem is then in the fuel system / fuel pump (FP).





Is the fuel pump (FP) working?

Yes - Checking the start parameters

No - ANOTHER TEST

- Ignition on.

Note! The heater must be switched off when reading off!

Read out the values for quantity of fuel, battery voltage and number of failed start attempts.
The fuel level should be sufficient and the voltage to the heater must not be too low in order for the heater to be started. If the number of failed start attempts is excessive the heater prevents starting.
Remedy as necessary.
