Rear outboard seat belt anchorage bolts
Background
The outboard rear seat belt lower attachments may be insufficiently tightened. The center seat belt is not affected.
Tighten the seat belt mountings V70 / V70XC 1
- Raise the left and right rear seat cushions.
- Insert an extension with a 14 mm socket under the side cushion (1).
- Tighten the seat belt mounting on the left rear and right rear seat belts to 48 Nm (35).
- Fold the rear seat cushion back into place.
Tighten the seat belt mountings for the S80 2
- Remove the rear seat cushion by pulling the top edge upward on the left and right-hand sides.
- Insert an extension with a 14 mm socket under the side cushion (1)
- Tighten the seat belt mounting on the left rear and right rear seat belts to 48Nm (35 ft. lbs.).
- Reinstall the rear seat cushion.
