Tail Light Bulb: Service and Repair

Bulb tail lamp / stop lamp / back-up lamp / fog lamp, replacing

Location




1. Turn signal lamps
2. Stop (brake) lamps
3. Tail lamps
4. Tail lamp / Rear fog lamp
5. Back-up (reversing) lamps.

Note! There is only a fog tail lamp bulb in one of the tail lamps. In the left tail lamp on left-hand drive cars and in the right on right-hand drive cars.

Upper tail lamp bulbs

Preparations
- Switch off the ignition
- Reset the lighting switch.

Removal
- Remove the loudspeaker. See Loudspeaker, D-post, replacing Loudspeaker, D-Post, Replacing.





Upper bulbs
- Twist off the bulb holder with the bulb
- Press and twist off the bulb.

Lower bulbs
- Disconnect the connector
- Twist off the bulb holder with the bulb
- Press and twist off the bulb.

Installation
- In reverse order.

Lower tail lamp bulbs

Preparations
- Switch off the ignition
- Reset the lighting switch.





Removal
- Remove the small side panel. See Cargo compartment side panel cover Cargo Compartment Side Panel Cover
- Remove the small cover panel. See Panel, cantrail, replacing Panel, Cantrail, Replacing
- Twist off the bulb holder with the bulb
- Press and twist off the bulb.

Installation
- In reverse order.
