Damper motor, defroster, replacing

Defroster (ECC)

Removing - left-hand drive





Remove:
- the glove compartment. See Glove compartment, replacing, B5244T5, B5254T2 Service and Repair
- the screws for the motor
- the motor
- the switch.

Removing - right-hand drive




- Remove the soundproofing panel. See Soundproofing panel, replacing Soundproofing Panel, Replacing
- Remove the screws for the motor
- Detach the motor
- Remove the connector.

Installation




- Position the motor
- Turn the shaft on the heater unit so that the motor can be installed
- Position the motor
- Install the screws for the motor
- Install the switch.

Left-hand drive
- Install the glove compartment. See Glove compartment, replacing, B5244T5, B5254T2 Service and Repair

Right-hand drive
- Install the soundproofing panel. See Soundproofing panel, replacing Soundproofing Panel, Replacing
- Carry out self-adjustment of the damper motor end positions. This is carried out via VIDA communication.
