The seat frame

Removing the seat frame





Remove:
- the seat from the car. See Removing power seats, tilting Removal and Replacement
- the seat cushion padding. See Seat cushion padding Seat Cushion Padding
- the backrest frame and mounting. See Backrest (frame and mounting) Backrest (Frame and Mounting).
Disconnect the wiring.

Note! Check that the wiring is correctly routed.




Remove the seat belt buckle. See Seat belt buckle Seat Belt Buckle (Second Generation Power Seats).
Slacken off two plus two screws.
Remove the seat frame.

Installing the seat frame

Install:
- the seat frame
- two plus two screws
- the seat belt buckle. See Seat belt buckle Seat Belt Buckle (Second Generation Power Seats)
- wiring
- the backrest frame. See Backrest (frame and mounting) Backrest (Frame and Mounting)
- the seat cushion padding. See Seat cushion padding Seat Cushion Padding
- the seat. See Removing power seats, tilting Removal and Replacement.
